MAGPIE exists to protect the quality of life in Edinburgh’s Marchmont district. We act as a bridge between local residents and official bodies, advising residents on what to do when they encounter problems such as litter, vandalism, noise, car crime, or unhelpful landlords or neighbours. MAGPIE is a non-political voluntary body.
Following the death of David Stay, founder and secretary of MAGPIE, this community group is now to be wound up.
If you are interested in local issues there are two other local groups that you might wish to contact, Friends of the Meadows and Bruntsfield Links and Marchmont and Sciennes Community Council
